The ICOM MBA-20 is a mounting bracket specifically designed for the Icom ID-5200E controller , allowing the detachable front panel of the transmitter to be used together with the Icom MBF-1 suction cup base .

This accessory acts as a connecting element between the controller of the new ID-5200E and the MBF-1 mounting system, offering a particularly practical solution for mobile installations in vehicles.

Important

The ICOM MBA-20 is not a complete suction cup base . To perform the mobile mounting shown for the ID-5200E, this mount must be combined with the ICOM MBF-1 .

Therefore, to have the complete set, you need the MBA-20 + MBF-1 . The Icom ID-5200E transmitter and the MBF-1 base station are sold separately unless expressly stated as part of a package.

Thanks to this configuration, the controller can be installed independently of the main unit , placing it in a convenient and easily visible position for the operator, while the transmitter body can remain installed in another location on the vehicle.

The MBA-20 is an original Icom accessory developed to adapt the ID-5200E mounting system to the well-known MBF-1 suction cup articulated base.
