Icom has unveiled the new IC-7300MK2 , a next-generation compact transceiver for HF, 50 MHz and optionally 70 MHz (Europe version) bands, at Ham Fair 2025 (August 23-24, 2025).
The first shipments are expected to begin in late 2025.
Performance improvements :
RMDR and phase noise reduction, improving immunity to adjacent signals
Selected components and optimized power supply design
Power consumption in standby reception mode reduced by ~23%, reducing the heat generated
New features in Icom HF transceivers:
HDMI port for connecting large external displays
Built-in CW decoder decodes Morse code without using a PC
Other notable features:
Separate RX antenna connector for filters, antennas or preamplifiers
USB-C with two virtual COM ports useful for FT8 + simultaneous logging
Integrated LAN for remote operation with RS-BA1 without the need for a server PC
Supports the new 5 MHz band (European version)
