The PKT-23 features eight standard PMR channels , compatible with most transceivers on the market. However, if you wish, you can change them using software (optional programming cable and software, not included).

Thanks to its high-capacity KNB71L lithium battery , you can use this walkie-talkie for up to 15 hours without needing to be recharged. But it doesn't end there; Kenwood has included a rapid charger so you can get back to working with the PKT-23 in record time (approximately 2 hours of charging time)!

The front LED on the device will let you know if it is receiving a signal, is transmitting, and will even inform you of the battery level.
