Description KPOMB5PLUSP6

The K-PO MB+5 P6 is a powered desktop microphone designed for CB and amateur radio equipment. Its robust construction and various adjustment options allow the audio level and tone to be tailored to the operator's preferences, providing powerful and controlled modulation.

The microphone incorporates a built-in high-gain amplifier of approximately 35 dB , along with a volume compressor that helps maintain a more consistent modulation level during transmission. It also features an internal equalizer that allows for more precise adjustment of the sound characteristics.

The front panel features rotary volume and tone controls, along with an analog VU meter that continuously displays the modulation level. This allows the operator to monitor the audio and adjust the output level to match the transceiver being used.

This P6 version comes with a pre-wired 6-pin microphone connector compatible with numerous CB radios that use this standard connection, such as the Midland Alan 48 PRO and the President Barry II+ , among others. Before connecting it to any radio, it is important to always verify that the transceiver's pinout matches that of the MB+5 P6 .

Important: Even if a transmitter has a physically compatible 6-pin connector, this does not necessarily mean it uses the same wiring. Before connecting the K-PO MB+5 P6, you must verify that the transceiver's pinout matches that specified by K-PO to avoid potential malfunctions or damage to the equipment.
