1080p, 960p, and 720p in 30 and 60 fps (720p). The camera line HD HERO offers three different resolutions and three film modes to capture the best angles for any activity:

1080p: 1920 × 1080 True HD with a viewing angle of 127 °, 30 fps, and an aspect ratio in the 16:9 Widescreen
960p: 1280 × 960 Ultra Wide and Tall HD with a viewing angle of 170 °, 30 fps, and an aspect ratio of 4:3 on the screen. You will see more up and down action in panoramic 16:9 resolutions.
720p: 1280 × 720 Ultra Wide HD with a viewing angle of 170 °, both 30 and 60 fps, and an aspect ratio of 16:9.
Photos 5MP, Automatically
HD HERO cameras can shoot 5-megapixel photos without pushing buttons at intervals 2/5/10/30 and 60 seconds until the battery is spent or the SD card is full (2.5 hours). It also can be configured for a single shot, triple shot, or self timer for taking pictures as always.

The camera can also be used while charging ... very useful on road trips where it's fun not stop recording. It also has an integrated battery heating system to keep warm battery in winter activities.
