Aircom Premium is an ultra-low loss coaxial cable with an upper frequency limit of 12 GHz. It is characterized by its very low weight and very low attenuation. The high-precision cast aluminum inner conductor is surrounded by a copper foil. This foil effect ensures a high-performance RF line. The precise formability of the aluminum core results in virtually no defects across the entire frequency range. Furthermore, this new cable in the Aircom family is ideally suited for digital modulation methods due to its very low intermodulation.
Aircom Premium's extremely low attenuation is achieved through a low-loss PE dielectric. The material is also moisture-resistant. To achieve good shielding with low losses, the outer conductor of Aircom Premium consists of two copper layers: a thin copper foil is overlaid with a shielding braid providing 75% coverage. Internally, this braid is coated with blue PE, thus protecting it from cracking caused by excessively tight bending radii. The black PVC outer jacket of Aircom Premium is UV-stabilized. Aircom Premium is a coaxial cable suitable for most technological applications: it is flexible, has low attenuation, and is radiation-resistant. It is a coaxial cable with excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Its low loss makes it ideal for demanding applications.
