This model is designed for vehicle installation, with a DIN format and shallow mounting depth, making it easy to install in both cars and trucks. It also includes practical features for everyday use such as ASQ (automatic squelch), channel scanning , RF Gain , a direct 9/19 button, three quick-access memories, and Up/Down buttons also located on the microphone.

The VOX function allows transmission without pressing the microphone button, automatically initiating transmission upon detecting the user's voice. According to the manufacturer, sensitivity and delay can be adjusted to various levels.
