The Hytera BD505 is a professional handheld transceiver designed by Hytera Communications to offer a perfect balance of performance, ruggedness, and ease of use. It operates in UHF bands (400–470 MHz) , depending on the version, and allows operation in both analog and digital (DMR) modes, ensuring full compatibility with existing systems and mixed fleets.

Thanks to its rugged housing and IP54 and MIL-STD-810G certifications, the BD505 is ready for demanding environments such as construction sites, industrial settings, security, transportation, and logistics. Its 1,500 mAh lithium-ion battery offers up to 16 hours of digital operation and 12 hours of analog operation, with an optional 2,000 mAh extended battery for up to 22 hours of runtime.
