Original COMET coaxial protector with female PL connector to female PL connector. When the protector detects a large increase in current or voltage, it automatically directs it to ground, thus preventing equipment overload.
Great capacity to withstand high currents in a compact size. Great duration, thousands of possible downloads. Extremely sensitive against any excess current. Protector against atmospheric discharges manufactured with a coaxial type core with low insertion losses and high bandwidth.

To provide the tower with adequate grounding, make the connection to it using copper (preferably) or thick aluminum wires in order to maintain a lower resistance measurement with ground. The protector is very effective against sudden increases in voltage, however it is not an absolutely perfect protection against excessive currents such as direct lightning strikes in our radiant system. 1.- To use the protector correctly, it must be installed between the coaxial cables and/or as close as possible to the transceiver/receiver.
