MFJ1778M MFJ Dipole Antenna of Thread 10-40 meters 1500 watts. The MFJ-1778M antenna is a multi-band central power dipole antenna with a capacity of 1500 watts. The MFJ-1778M consists of 16 meters of flat surface fed with 5 meters of section of 450 ohms that end in a female PL coaxial connector. This antenna usually requires the use of a suitable adaptation network (antenna tuner) since the SWR of the G5RV JR is almost certainly not 1: 1 in any band. The use of a tuner will guarantee the maximum performance of the solid state drivers.
