Multiband HF antenna rigid dipole type 9 bands coverage that covers the bands of 2, 6, 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 30, 40 meters. 1/2 wave, 9-band mini-dipole antenna. Total length 4.30 meters.
Its tiny 7-foot turning radius fits on the smallest roof - it's perfect for townhomes, apartments, and condos.
The MFJ-1789 is discreet and low profile, it can be easily rotated with a lightweight rotor (not included) (see AR-303/AR-500).
Its directivity reduces QRM/noise and allows you to focus your signal in the direction you want, so you can work in DX.
It can operate 9 bands (40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6 and 2 meters) and run a full 1500 Watts SSB/CW on all HF bands.
With 6 and 2 meters added, you have the most versatile dipole in ham radio! Each HF band uses a separate, efficient end-loading coil wound on fiberglass forms with TeflonTM cable and capacitance hats at each end (no lossy traps). 6 and 2 meters are full length half wave dipoles.
BUILT TO LAST - Incredibly strong solid rod fiberglass center insulator and 6063 T-6 aircraft strength aluminum tube radiator. Adjusting one band has little effect on other bands.
