The Kenwood NXR-1700E-KIT VHF is a VHF repeater that combines analog capabilities with DMR and NXDN digital technology, allowing a gradual migration to digital communication. KENWOOD NXR-1700E KIT-VHF. This is a VHF repeater designed to operate in the 136-174 MHz range. This repeater comes configured in analog mode from the factory, but can be converted to digital through licenses to operate in DMR or NEXEDGE (NXDN), which gives it great flexibility in its use.

Software options:
DMR Conventional License: Allows you to enable DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) mode, providing clear and efficient digital communication for professional applications.

NXDN Conventional License: Activates NXDN mode, a digital radio protocol developed by Kenwood and Icom that improves coverage capacity and audio quality, ideal for large-scale radio networks.

Conventional IP Network License: Enables IP networking for multiple sites, allowing communication between repeaters over the IP network, both in analog and digital mode, extending coverage over wider geographic areas.
