EDD-24T

The new EDD-24T is a portable nonlinear junction detector (NLJD). It detects all types of electronic devices, whether active, passive, or even switched off.
It will detect the presence of semiconductor circuits used in all modern electronic devices, such as cell phones, tracking devices, listening devices, hidden cameras, digital voice recorders, SIM cards, etc. Importantly, the EDD-24T will detect such devices whether they are turned on and in use, turned on but in standby mode, or even turned off without power. Semiconductor electronics are used in all modern electronics and are manufactured using silicon substrates. When high-frequency radio signals are transmitted directly onto silicon, a strong second harmonic frequency of that radio signal is produced. Other materials, such as some bimetals or oxidized metals, may respond with a third harmonic signal.

The EDD-24T transmits a focused directional signal at 2.4 GHz (ISM Type B band). It receives at 4.8 GHz (second harmonic) and 7.2 GHz (third harmonic).

The highly sensitive receiver will respond to any signal produced at the second harmonic by even the smallest piece of silicon, such as that used in SIM cards, mobile phones, listening devices, voice recorders, covert video cameras, etc., and will need to be in use, in standby mode, or even have any power source connected to them to be detected.

The third harmonic receiver acts as a valuable confirmation of signals that may be ambiguous or non-threatening, such as those from oxidized metals, bimetals, etc.
