ENTEL HT980 ATEX F1. The ENTEL HT980ATEX F1 is an intrinsically safe UHF walkie-talkie operating in the 400-430 MHz UHF frequency band. It is designed for use in potentially explosive environments with gasoline or gas installations, such as depots or oil platforms. It is also suitable for use by emergency services and has been designed and built to the highest safety standards. The ENTEL HT980 is manufactured to withstand the most adverse weather conditions encountered in the field. This is because the HT980 meets the IPX68 standard, allowing it to be submerged in water for up to 1 hour at a depth of 5 meters with a full guarantee of proper functioning.

The ENTEL HT980 is a submersible radiotelephone that can withstand depths of up to 5 meters for up to 1 hour, unlike most other brands that are only splash-proof. It is certified according to European ATEX standards. The HT980 features a unique conductive polymer, eliminating the need for a separate conductive box. It is the ideal device for high-risk land and marine environments.

It is also intended for use by emergency services and has therefore been designed and built to the highest safety standards. It complies with ATEX regulations, a legal requirement in all European Union member states. Only radios approved according to the ATEX standard are considered intrinsically safe in EFTA countries.
