The MIDI Loop is a high-performance loop antenna designed for radio amateurs looking to efficiently cover the low and mid-HF bands. It offers a continuous frequency range from 3.5 to 14.5 MHz with a typical SWR of 1.2:1, ensuring stable and reliable operation in a variety of conditions.
Constructed from 60/60 aluminum alloy and TIG welding, the MIDI Loop combines mechanical robustness with high electrical quality. Its 75 mm tubular elements, 2 mm thick, along with stainless steel hardware, ensure durability even in adverse weather conditions. Its 2-meter diameter makes it a compact antenna in relation to its operating range.
Thanks to its advanced design, it provides low noise and harmonics, as well as effective rejection of unwanted signals with a front-to-back ratio of 6 dB and front-to-side ratio of 25 dB. It can handle up to 300 W of continuous power on 3.5-7 MHz and 800 W on 8-14.5 MHz , ideal for both DX and intensive amateur radio use.
