BABY-LOOP
HF magnetic loop antenna for the 10-12-15-17-20-30-40 meter bands with continuous coverage. Manufactured from TIG-welded aluminum with a 50mm diameter x 2mm thick tubular frame. Bolts and moving parts are made of stainless steel. The ring diameter is 1 meter and the total weight is 15 kg.
The antenna supports a maximum power of 1KW over 22MHz, with a 1/2 lambda dipole efficiency of -0.3dB @ 28MHz.

The Baby-Loop is a compact magnetic loop antenna designed for operation on all amateur radio bands from 40 to 10 meters, with precise tuning. This antenna requires very little space, with a diameter of 1 meter and a mounting height of 3 meters above the ground.
The Ciro Mazzoni company, founded by Mr. Mazzoni I3VHF, is recognized worldwide for its ARO antennas. Ciro Mazzoni's LOOP antennas are made of aluminum, and their robustness is due to their screwless construction, as all parts are welded. The antenna capacitor is a large, variable aluminum-air dielectric capacitor, with both plates welded directly to the loop, making it virtually indestructible at high power. The distance between the plates is 14 mm in the smallest antenna. A high-resistance actuator opens or closes the loop, tuning the plate capacitor to adjust the SWR.

Despite its small size, the Baby-Loop antenna offers comparable gain to a rigid dipole, with the added benefit of very low noise. Each antenna includes its own 2.0 controller, which connects directly to 220V and allows antenna control via a USB numeric keypad or CAT input, automatically adjusting when changing frequencies.
