MFJ 941

The MFJ-941E antenna tuner is an automatic antenna tuner designed to work on frequencies from 1.8 to 30 MHz. Its main function is to match the antenna impedance to 50 ohms to achieve optimum power transfer between the radio and the antenna. The MFJ-941E is designed to adapt virtually any transmitter to any antenna, including dipoles, invertedvees, verticals, mobile antennas, beams, random wires, and other antennas fed by coaxial lines, balanced lines, or a single cable. An eight position antenna selector switch provides versatile antenna selection. The MFJ-941E can handle up to 300 watts of RF output power from the transmitter. The MFJ-941E uses a cross-needle meter to simultaneously read forward power, reflected power, and SWR.
The maximum power that the MFJ-941E can handle is 300 watts of Peak Surround Power (PEP). This means that it can handle high-power signals transmitted in SSB (Single Sideband) mode and other transmission modes that use peak envelope power as a reference.
The MFJ-941E antenna tuner is very useful for adjusting and optimizing antenna efficiency in a wide range of HF (high frequency) frequencies. This allows better transmission and reception of signals in bands such as 80 meters, 40 meters, 20 meters, 15 meters and 10 meters, among others.
