The Sirio Monsoon is a 5/8 wave vertical ground plane antenna designed to cover frequencies from 26 to 30 MHz thanks to its innovative coil tuning system located on the bottom. This system allows the antenna to be easily adapted to CB 27 MHz, the 10-meter band, and other frequencies within its operating range, without needing to modify the radiator length. Its design incorporates a large-diameter coil made of 6 mm (AWG-3) aluminum , capable of handling high power and offering excellent radiation efficiency. The low radiation angle favors long-distance (DX) contacts, while the robust 6063 T-832 aluminum construction, along with reinforced coupling sleeves and a ribbed polycarbonate insulator, provides great resistance to the most demanding weather conditions.
The Sirio Monsoon also incorporates an anti-static cage on top and a practical tuning system using a sliding cursor on the coil, allowing for quick and precise adjustment between 26 and 30 MHz. It is an ideal antenna for both CB base stations and amateur radio operators seeking maximum performance with professional-quality construction, manufactured entirely in Italy.
