It is the most advanced detector of Minelab, incorporates the Technology of Complete Spectrum of Band. Its stylish, sturdy and innovative design control panel, the screen and the lightweight and sturdy plate more Manufacturer: minelab Reference ETRACMINELAB
ETRAC MINELAB MINELAB metal detector.
E Trac is Minelab's most advanced detector, as it incorporates Full Band Spectrum Technology (FBS). Its elegant, resistant and innovative design control panel, the screen and the light and robust plate, as well as the object identification options, make it a detector at a great distance from others. E Trac also includes a USB connection with which you can download and load the E Trac parameters, user modes and discrimination patterns from your computer.
E Trac will be able to detect the most valuable metal objects in a wide variety of mineralized terrains, including highly salinated ones, square sand and highly magnetic ones. The new functions allow you to customize the E Trac to your specific needs. This manual has been designed so that both the beginner and the most expert, get the most out of the E Trac. Minelab wishes you much success with your new E Trac! Operating frequencies are measured in kilohertz (kHz). Low frequency electromagnetic fields (eg 1.5kHz) penetrate deeper into the ground, but sensitivity to small objects is lower. High frequency electromagnetic changes (eg 65kHz) penetrate less into the ground, but are more sensitive to small objects. The E Trac, being able to operate with multiple frequencies, achieves a good depth and greater sensitivity. We give it to you with alkaline batteries, rechargeable battery, charger, Koss headphones, dish cover and electronics case.

Features
E Trac Full Band Spectrum Technology (FBS) Most detectors on the market operate on one or two frequencies, ranging from 1 to 70 kilohertz (kHz). Although this technology has been used by the sector for years, Minelab found that a frequency that worked well in one area, if used in another, did not yield such good results. The mineralization of the ground, the scrap content and the size of the object influence the transmission efficiency of a single frequency. The FBS technology combines the multiple frequency technology of Minelab BBS (Broad Band Spectrum) with a new microprocessor to achieve: Greater depth of detection Greater sensitivity to a wide variety of objects Less interference to electromagnetic sources A more precise identification of the characteristics of the object The FBS circuit automatically transmits multiple frequencies simultaneously. Thanks to this greater frequency range, the signal received from the detector's plate is analyzed from a wide variety of responses, obtaining more information to better identify the object. Minelab's unique FBS technology means deeper, more sensitive and accurate detection. Discrimination (Disc.) Discrimination is the ability of the detector to identify the objects you are looking for (eg, coins and jewelry) and eliminate the signals you do not want the detector to identify (eg, nails). E Trac can be programmed to discriminate objects in different types of terrain. Ground Compensation E Trac uses sophisticated technology to eliminate ground mineralization. An advanced digital filter automatically eliminates the influence of terrain signals, so you only have to concentrate on detecting objects New functions LCD screen The E Trac screen measures 72mm x 48mm and has a higher resolution, compared to the models previous explorer The graphics are seen with greater clarity, being able to better identify the objects, thus facilitating detection. Ergonomic keyboard The design of the new keyboard allows one-hand access to all E Trac functions. Ergonomic handle The design of the new E Trac handle allows the detector to be handled comfortably, with a different feel, exclusive to E Trac. It allows greater maneuverability, with maximum control, both in fast and slow sweeps and greater comfort when it has to be detecting long periods of time. The display of the screen has been improved, as well as the ease of access to the keyboard, in order to better adjust all the parameters. New menu In addition to the new keyboard, with the new menu you can better access the different options, user modes and discrimination patterns. Auto Latch (Semi-Automatic Edition of Discrimination) E Trac has included the Auto Latch function, with which the Discrimination Pattern can be edited semiautomatically. In this edit mode, the box will automatically move to the coordinates of the iron content (FE) and conductivity (CO) of the detected object. From there, you can accept or reject that object in the discrimination pattern you use, using the Accept / Reject key. QuickMask QuickMask allows to adjust the rejection levels of Iron and Conductivity independently of the Discrimination Pattern, achieving a faster and easier way to edit the Patterns. User modes User modes allow you to choose the best parameters and discrimination patterns depending on the terrain conditions. The detector has four programmed modes, in addition to several memory positions to store your own. Through the menu you can easily access all modes and change when necessary. Recommended sensitivity When using Auto Sensitivity, the E Trac will indicate the sensitivity chosen and the one that the device "suggests", depending on the ground conditions. E Trac Xchange E Trac Xchange allows you to download and load the detector configuration and Discrimination Patterns through a USB port. This feature has been designed so that you can quickly configure the E Trac to specific detection environments, or the objects you prefer to search.
