SQUELCH Control Turn this control clockwise to mute the device when not receiving a clear signal and just hear noise, it'll get a quieter and more comfortable standby status. Selector AM / FM Press this button to select AM or FM. SCAN button Your device comes with built-CB channel scanner. This feature allows you to scroll through 40 channels and stop on the channel you're busy and will remain on that channel for about 7 seconds after the conversation ends detected again immediately afterwards resume scanning channels. To activate this feature press the SCAN button, the display will indicate the operation. If you would like to complete the action of scanning, press the button again SCAN or the PTT button located on the microphone, this completes the scan function. CHANNEL button 9 / RESET Press this button in case of emergency, this will lead to Channel 9 immediately (emergency channel). This button can also be used as RESET when the station does not work properly. Hold this button while turn on the radio to reset the device (reset). By taking this action, the display will show the letters RS and the station will reset to original factory settings. UP channel selector (up) / DOWN (down) Press UP or DOWN buttons to select the desired channel. When these buttons are pressed quickly change channels up or down depending on which button you choose. Power Cable Connection Connect the power cable to the vehicle battery (red wire to positive 13.8 volts and black wire to ground) or power (in the same way as in the battery.) Pay close attention to this step, incorrect wiring (polarity reversal) or a higher voltage supply to 13.8 volts to damage the equipment. External Speaker The station has a connector on the back for connecting external speaker jack with 3.5 mm jack. |
