Thank you for purchasing a product LAFAYETTE.

To take full advantage of this product, please read the instructions that then we detail.

ATTENTION:

Do not try to cast if the antenna has not been previously connected, this action could seriously damage your computer.

? This equipment has been calibrated and tested at the factory, do not open or tamper with internal components.

ANTENNA:

The cable connecting the antenna must end in a PL-259 connector to allow connection to the computer. Use single antenna set in the band 27 Mhz. And cable RG-58 / U with a typical impedance of 50 ohms.

MICROPHONE STAND:

Install the microphone stand in a comfortable position in the car, confirm that the cable as the microphone does not harm or interfere with driving operations.

INTERFERENCE CAUSED BY THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF VEHICLE:

CONTROL CONTROLS AND INDICATORS:

Modern cars usually do not cause interference problems due to their distribution systems or boot, so the station should not suffer any interference caused by engine operation.

DISPLAY AND OPERATION OF THE ISSUER ARES:

After you have successfully installed the station correctly connected CB antenna and the connection to food based on the following 6 steps to a proper and satisfactory operation of the appliance.

Step 1: Connect the microphone to the connector on the front of the unit and verify proper and safe connection.

Step 2: Verify that the connection of the antenna connector on the transmitter is properly performed.

Step 3: Verify that the control of "squelch" is in indicating the time position "9" o'clock.

Step 4: Turn the device with the same control and adjust the volume level more satisfying.

Step 5: Select the desired channel using the channel selector up / down.

Step 6: To transmit, press the "PTT" button on the microphone. For release the "PTT".

CONTROLS AND CONNECTORS: FUNCTIONS AND USES

1 - ON / OFF On / Off and volume control

This triggers the control unit and to adjust the sound volume more satisfying for the reception.

2 - Control "SQUELCH"

Turn this control clockwise to mute the device when not receiving a clear signal and just hear noise, it'll get a quieter and more comfortable condition standby.

3 - Switch AM / FM

Press this button to select AM or FM.

4 - SCAN Button

Your device comes with built-CB "Scanner" channels. This feature allows you to scroll through 40 channels and stop on the channel you're busy and will remain on that channel for about 7 seconds after the conversation ends detected again immediately afterwards resume scanning channels. To activate this feature press the "SCAN", the display will indicate the operation. If you would like to finish the scanning action, again press the "SCAN" or the "PTT" button on the microphone, this ends the "scanner."

5 - Button CHANNEL 9 / RESET

Press this button in case of emergency, this will lead to Channel 9 immediately (emergency channel). This button can also be used as "reset" when the station does not work properly. Hold this button while turn on the radio to reset the device (reset). By taking this action, the display will show the letters "RS" and the station will reset to original factory settings.

6 - UP channel selector (up) / DOWN (down)

Press the "UP" or "DOWN" to select the desired channel. When these buttons are pressed quickly change channels up or down depending on which button you choose.

7 - Power Connection Cable

Connect the power cable to the vehicle battery (red wire to positive 13.8 volts and black wire to ground) or power (in the same way as in the battery.) Pay close attention to this step, a wrong connection (reverse polarity) or a higher voltage supply to 13.8 volts to damage the equipment.

External Speaker

The station has a connector on the back for connecting external speaker with plug type jack 3.5 mm.
